Your friends keep calling so you finally answer and tell them you're with me
They find us and follow us back to my house
It's 5 am and you text me afterwards until we fall asleep
It's winter and I have the flu

You want to make my winter break better because I'm down and sick
Our plans fall to shit but at 1pm on New Year's Eve I drive to you
