He feels dark, cold, and alone
She is joyful, nice, and loving
He feels like a King who has lost his throne
She is sweet to him, and cares about him
He cares about her, more than she knows
He asked her to marry him
She said no, her reason being for that they were too young
Once again he feels alone again
Void of soul, for he has been rejected
Deep down inside she really loves him, and hated having to turn him away
But he did not know that it was killing her inside
Her parents forbade her to date him
But she truly loves him, and wants to be with him
He feels alone without her
He cannot function without her
He tries hard to figure out why she said no
And he realizes that he has to go
To prove his deep love for her
When he walks into her house
He finds her laying on the floor, with her wrist slit
She couldn’t bear being away from him
He runs to her side, hoping he isn’t too late
He picks up her weak body and kisses her
She opens her eyes weakly, and smiles
She apologizes many times
He says that it is ok, and that she will be ok
He holds her tight, and bandages her arms
She says, it’s no use, I’m gone
He yells no I’m not letting you die
He carries her to his car and races to save her life
The doctor says there is no hope
But he refuses to give up on her
For he has met the love of his life
And he is not going to let her slip away from him
He stayed there by her side
Until the minute she died
Full of tears and crushed dreams
He cannot deal with the pain of losing her
Because once you find the perfect girl, you never want to let her go
