Forgotten Leaves

Among a sea of many, there was a single leaf Hanging on was steady, but lonely in its grief This leaf was ever different, than others in the mass Infinitely resistant-t'was unremittant to time passed A gust of wind passed by, uttered of lost reverence Strength supplied's denied, caught in perpetuance Lonely it hangs on-a stem from an appendage Blooming glinty dawns, for doors forming remembrance Given new perceptions-revived it sees around Gazing all directions, what's seen-in ease astounds All around are trees-interlocked of sprouted limb Sharing just and fair decrees, that unite all as one kin Spotting a nearby leaf, draws in mind a quilter Masterly-hands weave, seams of dreams unwiltered Fluttering an un blown breeze, no gust is ever pilfered Existing in-a distant peace, naught befalls that pillar Blending to a mended course, both leaves intently fall Setting free the pent up force, that's sure to help them all Floating soft-they deftly bring, the ground to see their start Forgetting all past questioning, for all futures hold their part Spinning they fell Together they came A story i tell To all that remain...
