Among a sea of many, there was a single leaf
Hanging on was steady, but lonely in its grief
This leaf was ever different, than others in the mass
Infinitely resistant-t'was unremittant to time passed
A gust of wind passed by, uttered of lost reverence
Strength supplied's denied, caught in perpetuance
Lonely it hangs on-a stem from an appendage
Blooming glinty dawns, for doors forming remembrance
Given new perceptions-revived it sees around
Gazing all directions, what's seen-in ease astounds
All around are trees-interlocked of sprouted limb
Sharing just and fair decrees, that unite all as one kin
Spotting a nearby leaf, draws in mind a quilter
Masterly-hands weave, seams of dreams unwiltered
Fluttering an un blown breeze, no gust is ever pilfered
Existing in-a distant peace, naught befalls that pillar
Blending to a mended course, both leaves intently fall
Setting free the pent up force, that's sure to help them all
Floating soft-they deftly bring, the ground to see their start
Forgetting all past questioning, for all futures hold their part
Spinning they fell
Together they came
A story i tell
To all that remain...
