One does not know why it takes them so long to admit it's over. It's done. Full stop.
All the signs and indicators are there... They are so obvious that everybody around can see and tell something is wrong. Yet, they still fight to make things work, they hope, pray and wait for a miracle to happen... Not that they don't know, feel or even see but they still do not want to admit...
Admitting means it's over... It means they failed to make it work... And that is not ok. What they thought was perfect has gone into pieces and they are trying to pick them up and to build again.. instead of wiping them for good and building themselves for the future...
Sometimes it's easier to preach when someone is stuck in a relationship but when they are there, they do the same. They simply don't give up, they hope, pray and wait...
What they don't know is that there will always be someone out there waiting for this to end to approach them and to make things better, to give them hope and to show them that their prayers were heard, to tell them that the wait is over and a new start is waiting...
The person waiting on the other end might be shy, respectful and close enough to remain in the shadows as they do not wish to loose you...
People on both ends are going through the same... Both are fighting, both are hoping and both are waiting... waiting for different things...
