Whether it's in a word or in a look,
You'll never get rid of the Babadooks.
Tho' you can't see them they're always there.
Waiting for you,
Hook and snare.
They creep,
The shadows hide them.
So when you seek,
You'll never find them.
Once you do they'll give you a grin,
If you're unlucky you'll soon become friends.
Then they'll wait for the bitter end.
While you're happy and so content,
They're just waiting,
Using patience.
In due time you'll see your mistake,
When they scare so bad it'll make your heart race.
But whatever you do don't let them in,
Cause then you shall meet a very bitter end.
You'll friends will aboard on you,
Your family will ignore you,
Every one who care will completely shun you.
Everyone but one,
The Babadooks.
Now that they have gotten you alone,
They'll rob you everything,
Even your home.
Then when they finished taking what they stole,
The next stop is straight to your soul.
So take heed of this warning,
And always stay on the look,
Of those conniving, greedy, evil Babadooks.
Cause now matter what you say,
Or what you do.
They'll always come after you.
Whether in a word on a look,
YOU'LL NEVER GET RID OF THE BABADOOKS!!!!!!
