Its' Not A Date!

With a smile on face, looking to each other We sat by the window in that Chinese restaurant Ordered some food, looked like half cooked But still it tasted good And you started the talk I was quite and listening to your each words “The stress of your work, The pleasure of accomplishment Regrets of minor mistakes Plans for tomorrow…” Then suddenly you stopped And asked me to tell you about me I couldn’t start any And said it was good day with smile After dinner, we walked by the river It was getting darker and colder We sat by the park for a while Before anything could happen You said its time to say goodbye Even though I never wanted that night to end You smiled and said, “It was good time today, but it’s not a date.” I smiled back and said, “Okay!”
