Sore eyes and dried tears that hide a story
Hiding screams so they won’t make you worry
The pain has grown beyond what I can fathom
All you have is an apology with no compassion
Putting up a smile so I need not explain
For you will never understand my dismay
There are times I can’t keep it together
And so you finally realise I can’t let go any further
Holding me close, you ask me to pardon you again
