Politics isn't a parlor game,
Don't get involved, don't inflame.
It's said,"it's only semantics"!
A wrong word might crack like ceramics!
Spending untold hours in boring meetings,
Might be better to stop with opening greetings.
The total waste of taxpayers' money,
No laughing matter, it sure ain't funny!
Passing laws with pork barrel issues,
Pass the Kleenex, share the tissues Our elected representative officials,
Trying appear, oh, so officious,Yet come off appearing very suspicious.
So we say 'wait until the next election',
Maybe by then we can hope for perfection.
But what we don't seem to realize,
We seem to reelect the same old guys.
