A quarter of a year is called a season,
And was done for purposeful reason.
Season one is decidedly called SPRING,
The time of year when bees buzz,
Ad birds have their fling.
Then follows SUMMER, warm zephyr
Breezes, blue skies, fauna and floral growth,
Like no other.
Next is found AUTUMN, where the hills
are ablaze with the brilliance of color; God's
Palette of bronze, yellow, orange, and red;
A backdrop of blue skies, creating a sense of nothing to dread.
Lastly comes the final season of all. When
days grow short, time seems to crawl.
A mantel of white covers all past growth,
Looking for the next new seasons to provide
Prosperity, wealth, maybe both.
