Over the many decades,
Our country became a melting pot.
Accepting those wanting a better life,
Making this country a huge polyglot.
As countries become mores busive,
Causing their citizens to flee,
Coming to our borders,
Increasing our misery.
Stretching our budget spending
To a breaking point,
How many should we let in?
Spending billions on immigrants
Senior citizens and disabled vets
Don't have a chance to win.
Are we allowing our elected officials
To makes us like a herd of goats?
Or just another way for one party
to garner more political votes?
