Platinum shaken in the rain
she left me standing there
disintegration sway recklessly on the tip
of wet branches
darken enchantment
marble thoughts frozen heavy
under a stormy sky
she begs the arthropod to be wed
it’s her age she whispers to her heart
satirical clocks tick the illusion of time
affirmation ample - underwater tunnels
lead her to a fable paradise
the cold aquatic rain drown me
on a slow Tuesday afternoon
she took the adamant stone I gave her
and push the pedal a little harder
and never did look back
as I stood there in the middle of the cold street
and the Tuesday rain fell
somberly..
