The people I love, the hand that I hold.
All of my life I've always been told,
It was unnatural to love a gender the same as I. If I was to love them, I surely was to die.
"It's not our place to judge", they all say, even though they still do. You might not see us, but we have seen a million of you.
The ones whose statements remain as contradictory as before: “Accept everyone, but not the ones who want more..”
A love without boundaries, love without a border. But still this religion continues to endlessly boss and order
Those who love a bit wider than the "usual", The ones most Catholics ignorantly call "delusional".
We are taught that the Bible said "Adam and Eve"- There was no mention of the characters "Adam and Steve".
Congratulations on your 2,000-year-old religion, priding nothing has changed.
Didn't the Bible also tell you that women had to be silent? That's pretty deranged.
Why can't both be agreed it was "dependent on the time"? Why doesn't the way people love fall into that line?
Having grown up in a Christian religion "accepting of all", I have still yet to hear that promised welcoming call.
