Such kindness they show
To be called divine!
Gifted and ordained!!
The caregivers!
They manage the bridge, linking families,
on the brink ..
A bridge to unknown...
A new calling, they move
people in, and out ...
They are the givers!
To lead and serve
quietly they show their gifts
To heal the sick..
We know now that angels
Do indeed walk the earth!
Ordained to love,
quietly they mend with love
Medical divine!
Our Caregivers!
They seek not attention!
A new call, tough times!
Helping, heaving..
Keep breathing, help!
Oh no, not again!!
Daily life now one quick blur..
Grasping..fleeting life, slips..
A bridge, again,
a family, final adieu,
Breathing stops.
This time no family.
All times, that bridge
to the beyond sways
Sway makes giddy as
some fall off, face now
number..., but to them
Full human being!
They try and try ...
Our caregivers
Divine protects them
That give and help.
They get new winds
To sail in storms
To hold the rails as it hails,
though bridges sway,
They pave the way,
For many taken away..
This storm makes all
The world one big sea
Which some fail to see
This oneness is an evenness
No crop is safe!
The sea soaks the land..
All now one, equal,
Rains to rich and poor, equal,
Old power gutted, humbled!
All now how, hobbled!
One mew sea shakes
The earth, makes
All bridges of all lands shake!
And now, made one, they look to each as a common hook
calls all to book!
Our crops and yields sway
Fading fast away!
Old yields and high flags
do not wind todays sails
All flags now meekly flutter ...
As places shutter,
In confusion we mutter...
Like a small wet drooping
flag once proud, we mutter
In this New World where
New World with no flags!
Flags do not matter
New One World π
Knows no flags, or yields
Cares not for history nor
Shores that define
The boats are new
In this new world
The sailors that
Help us not drown
The caregivers!
Doctors, nurses, helpers
Our new sailors
Our leaders,
Thank you kindly!
Loud voice now of no help..
A whisper in the reeds,
Drowning with their leaden
hearts than once pained,
No one hears or cares,
You an old wet flag!
The new sailors are heard
Though modest and humble
They our new leaders!
In awe we see afresh
To what is real
A new seal!
We live in the now
Feel afresh in the now
More equal world π
The human crop
sprouts new leaves π
Old variety, falls below ..
In the vast new fields
Old leaden hearts now
sink into the mud
where they belong,
Stripped of their garb
Pomp and boast,
they now live small
joined In a common swamp
Telling each other tales
Off that time
when they were strong πͺ
Before this storm βοΈ
Which their guns could not see
As they were in the sea...
In the mud now their tales of power do not count beyond
Their small muddy swamp!
Letβs keep afresh and afloat ..
Our caregivers!
Thank you kindly for
Your talent shared,
The risks you take
You are more than
Medical,
you are also
Divine!
Thank you to the carers
of the world !
