When I look in the mirror,
Ask me what do I see.
What I see is a man trying
His hardest to succeed.
While staring into his eyes,
Remembering his past crimes,
When all he wants
Is a way to rewind time
So that he can correct his life.
Sometimes...
The pressure of success
Just makes him want to tightly caress
His 9,
And end all the rest
Of what’s yet to come,
Wearing a brave smile
Since he still knows how to have fun
And realizing the thought
That his life has only just begun.
As he washes his face in the sink,
He takes a second
And checks his stink,
And wonders...
What would others think?
His friends,
His family,
Do they ever stop to think...
Will he reach his final frontier?
He thinks this every day when
He looks at me in the mirror.
