Deep thoughts
As I lay here in the dead of night,
I begin to drift away in deep thought,
As I’m closing my eyes,
I can see my life like a show,
The clarity that scares me,
That makes me wanna go hide,
I try and change the channel,
But it’s nothing but static,
I begin to drift further away,
As I get deeper into my thoughts,
My imaginations starting to come to life,
My creative side is awaking now,
My other half, my genius, that’s filled,
with brilliant ideas, and thoughts,
Is coming up with a masterpiece!
