yeah its true
ppl do pretend
but all of them in different ways
some ppl look you in the eyes and fake laugh at you
milk and honey leaving their mouths
when actually they are full with bitterness
some ppl will play with words
using sarcasam and twisted frazes to make you mad and confused
but they adore you
some ppl
are acting kind and sweet and magical and pure
but they will stab you in the back when they first get the chance
and some ppl will never talk to you nicely
but they will feel your pain
some ppl pretend on purpose
acting like they are unique and independent and strong
when deep down they are just sad and insecure
and some ppl
some ppl just like me
will spend years and years of finding its place
searching for comfort
knowing that she is special
knowing that she is unique
and beautiful and kind and strong and independent
but forgeting all of that too often
but she will find comfort
she will settle
