I thought I knew what love was
Until I found you
See as a kid I thought love was seeing you every day
Us running around joking and looking for games to play
But then I got older and my love grew from what they call puppy love to something true
And me being me I did not know what to do
I had to ask my self what is love
Because I thought I knew
Until she said I don’t love her
I said tell me what I don’t do
I give you everything you want
From Cars to shoes
From clothes to jewels
She said you still don’t get it that’s not what love Is
I said what is love?
She said love is me, I am love not the money the cars the shoes and clothes
It’s my feelings
it’s us
growing old
it’s more than words cause
love never folds
Well I’ll be I couldn’t see because when she said that it was to late
And she left me
So now I know what it is love.
