If you don’t vote you have no right to complain. A saying that is both untrue and Profane. For what does it matter who votes?
When the popular vote holds no domain. And those in power unethically redraw the lanes. That we the electorate have to walk.
in order to stake our claim. And have our voices heard. If only the greed could be tamed.
But the calls for justice will always be silent. When the powerful act through do nothing committees. and good for nothing hearings.
Held in the public domain. To suffocate any and all claims. Simple acts of distraction. Used as a delay.
All to keep the public at bay. A tactic that will always work. Because too many in this country are still ignoring hard truths.
They wake to every fucking day. That they were born trapped and betrayed. Within the ever widening gaps.
between the American dream. They were told could be attained. and Its cold hard reality.
