The earth is alive again…
The sun has been put back in it’s home
The snow has melted,
Making space for new life to roam
Early flowers bloom towards the sun
As it awakens them like true love’s kiss;
The sky is full of leftovers of the rain
What can possibly be better than this
Misty haze and dew on the grass
Light up as the sun begins to pass…
Appearing over the horizon at last
No more night- I will rise like the morning!
The birds chirping their songs
Calling me to wake up! Arise
This world is so beautiful
I can’t miss what’s meant for human eyes
As if for the first time,
The earth is alive again
To look away would be a crime
As memories surface of way back when
As if for the first time
I am ALIVE again
A first breath- shocking in my lungs
I’m more alive than I have ever been
