draft I’ll never finish

I want to drink a lot of wine & push you in a dark room with a hint of reluctance because at first I’ll end up baring my secrets to you. Only to drown in your eyes when you look at me in silence. Maybe you’re admiring me or you’re thinking about how I talk too much nonsense. When I’m half asleep I know you’re studying me and in the middle of the night asking me if I’m okay the way I toss and turn. You can’t keep fooling me like you don’t want more when you kiss my lips when you think I’m not awake. Somehow my body sneaks it’s way and wraps around you like a snake. When I hide under the sheets and you uncover to see my tired face.
