The war of our hearts and minds, you scream at me and I scream back but there are no words that I could ever say that would mean I could never hurt you.
I didn’t know what I was in for when I signed up for this mess.
Love is the greatest battle, even more so when the affection is too strong for one’s own good.
It’s all encompassing and all consuming, beautiful and horrifying all at once.
But what if nobody wins this war?
The casualties were hearts on both sides, left broken and bleeding, but to no avail because all we ever wanted was for the opponents to come out victorious.
And, in the end, nobody ever wins this war.
