Maybe not now in this winter
but eventually,
I will be hanging onto that
eventually,
for now.
I’ve gazed onto many and those have looked at me; how do I explain what your eyes did to me?
A tenacious face,
dark brown colored eyes
and a sly smile.
That’s when a fire started delicately
until it spread right down to my lips and further down most don’t get a glimpse.
By your honed eyes there was a flame surely burning since.
Like a candle, melting by your hours
let’s spend the rest until it burns blue.
